AICA Education's Christmas Gift to the World
Staff and teachers have donated a total of $270.00 for an Oxfam appeal. This will help develop 2 Water Wells for Cambodian communities so they can enjoy access to clean water and avoid disease.
These wells provide ongoing access to clean water which can be used for washing, drinking and cooking. It's simple, inexpensive and an effective way to improve lives. "In Cambodia, less than one third of people have access to clean, safe water. Working together with remote communities to build local wells, our programs are combating the spread of life-threatening diarrhoeal diseases, malaria and dengue fever and keeping families safe." Danielle Cantlon, East Asia Program Officer, Oxfam Australia.
