COURSE DESCRIPTION 
The Certificate IV in Visual Arts is a pre-requisite for students wishing to enroll in the Diploma of Visual Arts. The business and professional practice components of this course provide students with the knowledge and resources to market and promote themselves, and lead successful careers as professional artists. This course offers a broad range of artistic skills and experiences in many different disciplines e.g. drawing, painting, sculpture, design, video art and public art. It is designed to allow students to develop a portfolio of artwork suitable for applying for jobs or alternative courses, and also provides a pathway to higher qualifications such as a diploma or degree.
