Completion of:
· 4 Core Units;
· Completion of 10 units from the elective areas;
· At least 1 unit from the Core and Cross Specialisation Units

COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Certificate III in Visual Arts allows students to focus on and develop their chosen area of study. It is an excellent foundation for studio development and small business.
This course offers a broad range of artistic skills and experiences in many different disciplines eg. drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, digital art, video art and photography. It is designed to allow students to develop a portfolio of artwork suitable for applying to courses in further study, e.g. university degree. The course also encourages personal development and a sound basis for working from an art studio. It provides a pathway to higher qualifications such as a diploma or degree.
