WHY CHOOSE A SHORT COURSE?
These exciting introductory courses that will give students a chance to try out a course to see if it is what they are looking for. The short courses run over 10 weeks and include a variety of subjects designed to give an overview of the full time coursesor just as a hobby course.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Students must be 15 years and over. International students do not require a student visa for the short courses, however a minimum IELTS 5.0 or equivalent is required.

VISUAL ARTS -DRAWING
This is an exciting introductory course that will give students a taste of the full 2 year Diploma of Visual Arts course. Students will explore their potential and expand their skills in multimedia with drawing by learning different drawing techniques.
In this course students will learn to use different mediums in drawing, developing new skills and an understanding of techniques to explore their creative expression.
VISUAL ARTS - CERAMICS
This is an exciting introductory course that will give students a taste of the full 2 year Diploma of Visual Arts course. In this course, studentswill be able to physically deal with 3 dimensional form and learn about positive and negative space. The design element of texture can be fully explored when working with a pliable material such as clay.
In this short course the student will gain an understanding of design, the raw materials and the production technique of a ceramic piece.
PHOTOIMAGING:
This is an exciting introductory course that will give students a taste of the full 2 year Diploma of Photoimaging course. In this course students will learn how to take photographs that capture memories with creativity and confidence. Students will be introduced to the features of their camera equipment and how to enhance images using the latest software. The design software required for this course will be provided by the college.
Students will gain practical hands on experience in photography, lighting techniques, digital imaging, studio techniques and more!
GRAPHIC ARTS
In this introductory course students will learn the basics of Graphic Design and learn the software to design publications such as logos, brochures, advertising and packaging. The design software required for this course will be provided by the college.
