Diploma of Community Services Work

The Diploma of Community Services runs for two years and covers a diverse range of topics including OH&S, counselling, community development and case management. The course includes 400 hours of work experience. Graduates of this course will find work in the Community Services industry and will operate at an advanced skill level and may also have the responsibility for the supervision of other staff and volunteers. A community service role assists individuals, families and groups with social, emotional and financial difficulties to improve quality of life by educating and supporting them and working towards change in their social environment.
